Madden weight lifting!

This morning, Madden brought me my boots and told me he wanted to go downstairs and play ping pong. Matt got a ping pong table for Christmas and Madden just loves it. He has his own paddle and loves to try to hit the ball.

snowed in!

In the past 2 days Spokane got anywhere from 5-12 inches of snow. We only have about 6 inches, mixed with a little ice and slush. We're supposed to get more snow all week long. It looks like we'll be snowed in for a while!

No More MiMi!

We finally did it. Last night was Madden's first night without his Binkie! We weren't planning on doing it last night but he kept kicking me when I was changing his diaper so I threatened him and asked if he wanted to stand in the corner and he said yes. The I asked if he wanted a time out and he said yes, then a spank, and he of course said yes. Then I asked if he wanted me to take his mimi (binkie) away and he said "no" with a really sad face. So, we did it. My mom sent him a book this week about sending your binkie to another baby so I was planning to do it soon. He woke up twice last night with out it. The first time, I just stood by his bed a few minutes. He asked for it but didn't give in. The second time, Matt was lazy and just took his pillow in and slept on his floor. We'll see how nap time goes today without out his beloved mimi.

Funny story about it. The other day, I went downstairs to run on the treadmill. I couldn't find a place to plug in it though and I kept saying, "I need to find a plug." We used to call hisbinkie a plug. A few minutes later, Madden walks in with a plug (binkie). "Here you go mommy, a plug!" He is so helpful!

Hockey on the softball field!

The other day, I looked out the window and saw the neighbors playing hockey on the softball field. It had frozen over enough for them to skate on it! How fun!

Matt found all of his old hot wheels and the two of them have been playing cars together all evening. They like to play in our totally empty living room that Madden calls the Dance Party room. I have my cd player in there and he loves to go in there, turn it on, and dance like crazy.

The boys moving our stuff in...it was 25 degrees and we had 8 inches of snow on the ground and it was still snowing. The new house is great! We love it. More pictures to come.
