Trick or Treat!

Donald Duck was a big hit! He looked so cute. The hat kept falling down, but he let us know every time if fell off.

Madden and his cousin, just before heading out to trick or treat!

Just the boys!

Madden loved his pumpkin. He's been carrying it around since we got it. Each door we went to, we would have to prompt him to say "trick or treat" and then "thank you." But, he would then announce "i have candy in my punkin."

High School Musical Party!

My Brother Danny will probably disown me for this but....just so his students at BYU know, he has officially seen High School Musical. I guess that his students were giving him some grief because he had not seen it yet. While we were in KC we took care of that with an official HSM party, including a family session of HSM karaoke in which Danny sang for Troy because he was the only boy there. So, I hope that somehow, this post will be made known to his students. Although, if he never finds out, then I know he never reads my blog. Love ya Dan!

The other day, we carved pumpkins with our friends the Porters. Madden had a blast!

Pictures from my trip to KC

This is my adorable almost 12 year old niece Emily. We got matching shirts back in California earlier this summer. Her mom also has the same shirt but forgot to wear it on matching shirt day.

Madden is in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. This is him putting Mickey and the gang to bed.

Blog Worthy thoughts!

1. If you spend a few weeks away from your husband, he may forget how to put the toilet seat down.
2. A while back Madden started calling us daddy-o and mommy-o. Pretty cute, huh. Occasionally, he adds an -o to other names too (Madden-o, papa-o, Addie-O, JJ-o). He is so used to calling is daddy-o and mommy-o that he felt the need to add another -o. Sometimes he calls daddy-o-o and mommy-o-o.
3. I started my first day of work today(working from home for Matt's school). I got up bright and early at 6:00 to get some work done. Madden decided to wake up at 6:30 and join me. Lucky me! Hopefully, he'll go back to sleeping in until 8 so that I can stick to my work schedule.

The patient is now the Doctor!

The other day, I asked Matt to give me an adjustment before I left on my trip. Well, Madden wanted an adjustment too. After his giggly adjustment, he decided that it wad Daddy's turn for an adjustment. So, he took matters into his own hands and gave daddy his own adjustment.
